Tutorial Organizers
Dr. Austin Rovinski is a founding member of the OpenROAD project. He has served as a design advisor, managed tool flows, and contributed to OpenROAD’s detailed router. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and he is currently a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University working with Prof. Christopher Batten.
Austin will be applying for academic and industry positions in Fall 2022, come talk to him!
Dr. Tutu Ajayi was a member of the OpenROAD project and served as a design advisor. He created OpenROAD-Flow, the main toolchain for testing OpenROAD, and has provided maintenance and tool feedback. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and he is currently a postdoctoral associate at Michigan working with Prof. Ronald Dreslinski.
Dr. Christopher Batten is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. His research group works at the intersection of computer architecture, electronic design automation, and digital VLSI, and his team has released numerous open-source hardware modeling, generation, simulation, and verification frameworks including PyMTL2, PyMTL3, PyH2, and Pydgin.
